Quiet, fresh, and deeply soothing, our Verdant Calm candle, captures the gentle stillness of a moment set aside just for you. Eucalyptus brings a cool, cleansing clarity, reminiscent of a serene spa atmosphere where the mind begins to soften and unwind. Soft geranium follows with its delicate, uplifting floral warmth, while lavender adds a familiar, comforting calm that eases the body into a slower, more restful rhythm.

Together, the notes form a serene, restorative blend that encourages deep breathing, quiet focus, and a sense of inner ease.

Hand poured in small batches on the Wirral, Verdant Calm is crafted for grounding the mind, easing tension, and creating a sanctuary of stillness.

Candle Care

Caring for your candle helps it burn cleaner, last longer, and fill your home with its full botanical fragrance. Each Brimstage Botanicals candle is hand‑poured in small batches, the advice below will keep it performing at its best.

Before You Light

- Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn. This prevents soot, smoking, and an overly large flame.

- Place your candle on a heat‑resistant surface, away from drafts, curtains, pets and children.

- Allow the wax to reach the edges on the first burn. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even melt pool.

While It Burns

- Burn for 2–4 hours at a time (and never for more than 4 hours at a time) to maintain an even, clean burn.

- Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or animals.

- Keep the wax pool free of debris, such as matches or wick trimmings.

- Keep candles at least 10cm apart when burning multiple.

After You Extinguish

- Use a snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish without smoke.

- Re‑centre the wick while the wax is still warm to ensure an even burn next time.

- Let the candle cool completely before moving it.

Getting the Most From Your Candle

- Stop burning when 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar to protect the vessel.

- Once finished, your frosted glass jar can be cleaned and repurposed for storage, flowers, or small keepsakes.
