Forest Embers - Soy Wax Candle
Details
As evening settles and the fire begins to glow, Forest Embers fills the room with the quiet comfort of a woodland retreat. The fragrance opens with bright bergamot, crisp green lemon leaf, and fresh eucalyptus—cool, clean notes that feel like stepping in from the forest air and warming your hands by the hearth.
As the fire deepens, so does the scent. A gentle heat of soft spices, lavender, and geranium rises through the space, wrapping you in a soothing, familiar warmth. Finally, the fragrance settles into rich cedarwood, creamy massoia, earthy woods, and a subtle ember-like glow—deep, grounding notes that linger like the last light of the fire.
Hand‑poured in small batches on the Wirral, Forest Embers is crafted for slow evenings, quiet moments, and the simple pleasure of unwinding beside a warm, comforting flame.

Candle Care
Caring for your candle helps it burn cleaner, last longer, and fill your home with its full botanical fragrance. Each Brimstage Botanicals candle is hand‑poured in small batches, the advice below will keep it performing at its best.
Before You Light
- Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn. This prevents soot, smoking, and an overly large flame.
- Place your candle on a heat‑resistant surface, away from drafts, curtains, pets and children.
- Allow the wax to reach the edges on the first burn. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even melt pool.
While It Burns
- Burn for 2–4 hours at a time (and never for more than 4 hours at a time) to maintain an even, clean burn.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or animals.
- Keep the wax pool free of debris, such as matches or wick trimmings.
- Keep candles at least 10cm apart when burning multiple.
After You Extinguish
- Use a snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish without smoke.
- Re‑centre the wick while the wax is still warm to ensure an even burn next time.
- Let the candle cool completely before moving it.
Getting the Most From Your Candle
- Stop burning when 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar to protect the vessel.
- Once finished, your frosted glass jar can be cleaned and repurposed for storage, flowers, or small keepsakes.
